Lots of accidents
stabilizing this tau-
crossed room
of adobe
shade, spaced
out with crumpled cars
Upon the concrete seal
float squares of light
sun-thaw, snow unsealed
From what I can tell, this is literally just a poem about cars. And personally, I know nothing about cars. Though, like many poems, there seems to be something else underneath it all. “stabilizing this tau-” it’s like the poet is cutting himself off before continuing, like he was going to say something but decided not to. And then the last stanza, “float squares of light sun-thaw, snow unsealed”. I have no idea what it could be referring to, though.
