The little girl, oh such a lonely girl.
Crying tears of joy,
But never with a friend.
Alone in their home,
Never to leave or explore,
For the ancient texts is all they need.
What they need,
The little girl,
She needs to explore,
To find joy,
A true home,
She needs a friend.
The little girl’s friend
Has a need
A need of a home,
Just like the little girl.
The friend has to find joy
In the life they forsake, they must explore.
To explore
Is to learn, to make a friend,
To find joy
The journey is all they need,
The little girl,
Has found a friend, she has found a home.
This home,
The home of the heart, the will to explore,
She has learned much, the little girl,
She and the other have learned much from their escapades, she and her friend.
They have found a new need,
A need outside of reading but inside of travel and joy.
The joy, oh, the joy.
The girl and her friend,
They no longer have a need
For the stories, they have written their own now, the can explore
The world they read about, the girl and her friend.
She has learned much in her time, the once little girl.
The little girl felt the joy,
She had a friend, a friend who gave her a home,
She can explore, she no longer has a need.
